Profile I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Julia and I have been visually impaired my entire life. Up until recently I was working as a mental health therapist at a local non-profit agency. After leaving this position I decided to pursue other avenues of employment. I wanted something new and challenging. Last summer my brother approached me with the idea of doing online counseling. I was not crazy about this idea. After taking some time to think it over, I decided I wanted to do a website designed specifically for the blind and visually impaired. I spent numerous weeks going through the search engines to see what was out there. Then I began to create what I think is a unique website for blind and visually impaired people. Since I worked as a therapist for several years, I wanted to use this experience to provide a website that encourages insight and personal growth. I also wanted people to have the opportunity to get involved with the website. Thus, the creation of eyes2eyes.com.
